Dedham police log: June 26 to July 2

The following information was taken from the Dedham police log. Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Wednesday, June 26
Theft: At 11:32 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Court Street. A window was smashed and a cell phone was taken.

Thursday, June 27
Theft: At 9:39 a.m., police received a report of an ATM missing from the lobby of a building on Ariadne Road.

Building entered: At 1:03 p.m., police received a report that an unoccupied building on Washington Street had been entered.

Theft: At 4:21 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle. The rear window was smashed and a pocketbook and GPS were taken.

Arrest: At 5:18 p.m., police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Sears on Providence Highway. The suspect, Maribel Montanez, 48, of Dorchester allegedly took 11 items hid in her puse valued at $272.98. Montanez was arrested and charged with shoplifting.

Friday, June 28
Arrest: At 5:11 a.m., police arrested Glen M. Schleehauf, 31, of Dedham and charged him with domestic assault and battery. The arrest took place on Washington Street.

Malicious damage: At 7:50 a.m., police received a report of a smashed window in a vehicle on Beech Street.

Malicious damage: At 8:28 a.m., police received a report of a smashed rear window on a vehicle on Greenlodge Street.

Fraud: At 12 p.m., police received a report of credit card fraud from a High Street resident. There were charges on his account from Phoenix, Ariz.

Malicious damage: At 4:10 p.m., police received a report of a smashed rear window on a vehicle on River Street. The damage appeared to have been done with a BB gun.

Saturday, June 29
Housebreak: At 8:55 a.m., police received a report of a housebreak on Jersey Street. A wallet was taken.

Theft: At 11:33 a.m., police received a report of a theft at Legacy Place. A cell phone was taken.

Malicious damage: At 2:09 p.m., police received a report of malicious damage to a vehicle on Clough Road. The vehicle was scratched with a key.

Sunday, June 30
Theft: At 11 a.m., police received a report of a theft on Allied Drive. Someoen took cash, a photo identification, and several credit cards.

Theft: At 3:18 p.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle. The passenger side rear window was broken and a laptop, cell phone, headphones, and an MP3 player were taken.

Shoplifting: At 4:21 p.m., police responded to a report of shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy on Eastern Avenue. When police arrived, employees told them the individuals had fled in a vehicle and a search of the area was unsuccessful. There was $166.61 worth of merchandise that had been removed in a carriage, but it had been recovered with the people fled.

Arrest: At 4:32 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Bussey Street. Police arrested Jamie P. Wood, 28, of Dedham and charged him with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a Class B substances, possession of a Class C substance, and possession of a Class E substance.

Malicious damage: At 10:33 p.m., police received a report that a vehicle was egged on Holmes Road.

Monday, July 1
Arrest: At 12:44 a.m., police responded to an accident on Eastern Avenue involving two vehicles. One person was transported to Norwood Hospital with injuries. Police also arrested Kerwin Roberto Nunez-Mendoza, 25, of Dedham on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence of liquor.

Housebreak: At 10:19 a.m., police received a report of a housebreak on Colburn Street. Nothing appeared to be taken.

Accident: At 2:05 p.m., police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Washington Street. Three patients were transported to Norwood Hospital.

Arrest: At 11:54 p.m., police arrested Nicholas A. Buttlar, 18, of Dedham and charged him with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Tuesday, July 2
Housebreak: At 12:19 a.m., police received a report of a housebreak on Milton Street. The landlord allegedly entered the apartment without permission.

Theft: at 6:24 a.m., police received a report of a theft from a vehicle on Providence Highway. CDs were taken.
