Nine displaced in Dorchester fire
Nine people were displaced after a fire early this morning at a Dorchester triple-decker, the Boston Fire Department said.
The fire was reported at 114 Saxton St. at 3 a.m. The occupants safely got out, the department said in an official tweet.
The fire, which began on the rear porch, also extended to the rear of a house on Sagamore Street, the department said.
The fire caused an estimated $325,000 in damage.
