Boston police officers are descending on a Dorchester neighborhood this evening where they are searching for a naked man who may be armed with a firearm.

Police were calling in K-9 units to the area, and for officers to station themselves around an area formed by Tucker Street, New England Avenue and Talbot Avenue as they searched for the suspect.

The man may have run onto commuter rail tracks that slice through the neighborhood and police were carefully searching that area. The Fairmount line runs from South Station to Readville in Hyde Park with a stop on Morton Street.

No further information was immediately available.
