Dochester residents will be out in force this weekend from Savin Hill to Codman Square for Boston Shines, Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s citywide spring cleaning.
In Dorchester there will be a slew of events, from tree pruning to sweeping. Below is a list of some of the neighborhood events:
Columbia-Savin Hill Civic Association: Starts Saturday and runs from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Meet at Caspian Way at the top of Savin Hill Park. For more information email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fields Corner Main Street: Starts Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Meet at Dorchester Avenue and Park Street. For more information email email@example.com or call (617) 474-1432
McCormack Civic Association: Starts Saturday at 9:00 a.m. Meet at Sharon's Park.
Uphams Corner Main Street: Starts Saturday and runs from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Meet at the Uphams Corner Main Street’s office at 545 Columbia Rd.
