BPD seeking public's help with Friday morning hit and run
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit and run vehicle in Dorchester on Friday morning, according to the Boston Police Department. Police have not yet identified the driver or the vehicle and are asking for assistance from the public.
At approximately 1:25 a.m. officers responded to a radio call for a pedestrian struck by car on the corner of Talbot Avenue and Westcott Street. The victim was a 20 year-old man.
Police have not identified the vehicle or the driver, but the investigation indicates it was possibly a black or blue Mazda with damage to the passenger side mirror and the passenger side front quarter panel.
There were several people in the car, according to police.
