Students at the Boston College High School received a very worldly education as they took part in school’s Summer Immersion Program in Lyon, France.

The program included three-weeks of living with a French family, learning the city’s history, and taking classes at Centre Saint March, the Jesuit High School of Lyon.

South Boston resident Luca Encarnacao, a junior at BC High, a Jesuit high school based in Dorchester, was one of the school’s students who took part in the program.

The school’s summer excursion included adventures to the Roman Amphitheater and the Gallo Roman along with a three-day excursion to Paris.
