The samba and boss nova sounds of husband-and-wife duo Deborah and Giovani Rocha will be flowing out of Dorchester's Julian, Judson, and Dean Streets Community Garden Thursday, July 26.

The event is part of the Boston Natural Areas Network’s “Sounds of the Garden“ series, which is in its ninth-year.

The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the BNAN garden, which is sandwiched in between Julian Street, Judson Street, and Dean Street.

“Community gardens are always alive with excitement from gardeners and neighbors,” Valerie Burns, president of BNAN said in a statement. “Sounds of the Garden is a way to welcome the broader community into the garden.”

Dancing is encouraged and participants are reminded to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.
