Boston Neighborhood Basketball League heading into final games

On Tuesday and Wednesday some of the best athletes from Jamaica Plain to East Boston will hit the courts at Roxbury’s Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center as the Boston Neighborhood Basketball League’s 43rd season comes to a close.

The oldest municipal league in the country, will hold its women’s and men’s finals over the next two days, eventually crowning the two best teams in Boston in each of the four divisions: Pee Wee, 13 and under, 15 and under, and 18 and under.

On Tuesday the women’s final games will be held at 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and the men’s final games will be held at 6:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

From Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s games finalists will be determined and a championship game will be held the following week.
