Buses will replace train service on a portion of the Red Line this weekend, according to MBTA officials.

On Sat. Oct. 13 and Sun. Oct. 14, buses will replace service between JFK/UMass Station and Quincy Center Station, the T’s website said. The shuttles, which are accessible for people with disabilities, will stop at the two stations between those stops.

Work is planned to be done on the Columbia Junction signal replacement project, T officials said
