Residents from the Pope’s Hill and Neponset neighborhoods celebrated the holidays on Saturday and lit up the neighborhood’s tree in Neponset Circle.

After the tree lighting and a few Christmas carols, residents and youths headed back to the Neponset V.F.W. Post to meet Santa and sip on hot cocoa.
