The ReVision House in Dorchester recently celebrated the opening of its new play space, courtesy Horizons for Homeless Children, according to a release from the group.
Located on Fayban Street, the ReVision House, managed by the non-profit Victory Programs, is a residence for 22 formerly homeless mothers and children. In addition to the housing, the site is also home to the ReVision Urban Farm.
The new play space, which cost close to $4,000, includes areas for arts and crafts, games, literacy work, a small library, chalk boards, and infant toys.
Seventeen volunteers from Horizons for Homeless Children will staff the space, but the group is always looking for more help.
