The Massachusetts National Guard will hold a send-off ceremony for 13 Soldiers of the 188th Engineer Detachment (Facilities Management) on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at 4 Faneuil Hall Square Boston, Mass.

The Soldiers of the 188th Engineer Detachment, located at Camp Curtis Guild, received 10-month mobilization orders, and are scheduled to deploy to mentor Afghan Army and Police in facilities engineer operations, while overseeing the transition of $10 billion worth of facilities from NATO control to Afghan control.

Their hometowns are Beverly, Brockton, Dorchester, Douglas, Easthampton, Halifax,
Medway, Peabody, Quincy, Tewksbury, Taunton, Uxbridge, and Underhill, Vt.
