Musician and actor Ice-T will be talking with students at the University of Massachusetts Boston this week.
On Wednesday the 55-year-old Grammy Award-winning rapper will make a stop at the school’s Dorchester campus to talk about overcoming the impossible, the school said.
The New Jersey native, who currently stars on the hit TV show "Law & Order: SVU," was orphaned at a young age and briefly fell in with gangs while growing up in Los Angeles.
Ice-T, as part of his lecture series, has visited schools, churches, and libraries across the country to talk with youth about achieving their dreams.
Ice-T, along with his wife, also stars in the TV show ‘‘Ice Loves Coco.’’
