Dorchester residents and members of DOT Art paid tribute to the victims of Monday’s blasts in their own special way, a colorful banner.

The group painted and then installed the banner above the I-93 overpass in the Savin Hill neighborhood.

It reads, “No more hurting people…peace,” a quote made famous by Martin Richard, an 8-year-old Dorchester boy killed in the attacks.
