The Uphams Corner branch of the Boston Public Library is expected to reopen September 30, according to an advisory from the Boston Public Library.
Located at 500 Columbia Rd., it was temporarily closed in May for repairs.
Last renovated in 1989, an estimated $3.2 million worth of improvements were made to the structure, including a new roof and gutters, repointing of the masonry, the installation of new windows, and the installation of a new heating system.
The library moved into the 6,300-square-foot Columbia Road space in 1904. Prior to the move the branch was located on Dudley Street.
It will reopen at 10 a.m. Monday, September 30.
