As part of a public safety measure, a number of temporary parking restrictions will be implemented in Boston on Super Bowl Sunday, and, as necessary, temporary traffic restrictions may be put into place as well, city officials said.

The city advises drivers to pay close attention to posted regulations to avoid being ticketed and towed.

Parking meters, as always, will be free in Boston on Sunday.  But, if signs posted on the block indicate that parking is illegal on Feb. 5, then parking at meters on that block will not be allowed either, the city said.

Below is a list provided by the city of the temporary parking regulations, which will be marked with signs that say: "No Stopping Boston Police Special Event Sunday"

The city further cautions drivers that on Sunday evening, as necessary, Boston Police may also restrict vehicular traffic on the streets listed below.
