After a drunk man fell beneath a Green Line trolley that had just made a stop at Haymarket Station, customers quickly alerted a trolley operator before the train started to move again, MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo said.

The man was not injured, he said. The incident occurred at about 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

In the above video, T customers on the station's platform are seen rushing to the front window of the trolley to alert the operator that a man had fallen near between the platform and the tracks. The man is helped back onto the platform by several people.

"The MBTA would like to express its gratitude to the customers who 'Saw Something, and Said Something' before it was too late," the spokesman added.
