Buses to replace trains on part of Blue Line on Oct. 21 while emergency training exercise held

Buses will replace train service on a portion of the Blue Line on the morning of Sunday, Oct. 21, while an emergency-response training exercise is held, according to MBTA officials.

The shuttles, which are accessible for people with disabilities will between Government Center Station and Maverick Station from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m., T’s website said. The buses will stop at the two stations between those stops.

Normal service is expected to resume at noon, officials said.
