A newly formed local media company will step a stilettoed toe into Boston Fashion Week on Thursday night, hosting a fashion show at Chinatown’s Empire Garden Restaurant.

Eclipse Mass Media, a new Boston-based multimedia company, works to promote models and performers of Asian ancestry and to build economic relationships between New England businesses and their counterparts across Asia. The media company will show fashions by eight promising young local designers.

“Featuring fashion designers, makeup artists, and 40 of the hottest models to an audience of approximately 600, this is going to be one of the most exciting events of Boston Fashion Week,” said Evelyn Leong, director of casting and modeling for Eclipse, in a statement.

On Thursday, Oct. 4, there will be a 5 p.m. trunk show followed by a 7 p.m. runway show at Empire Garden, located at 690 Washington St. in Chinatown. Advance prices are $500 for a VIP table of 10, $250 for a general admission table, $50 for individual VIP tickets, or $25 each for general admission. General admission tickets will be $30 at the door.
