In a move like a desperate man rushing to the florist on Valentine’s Day to get flowers for his significant other, the city of Boston wants to make nice with Boston drivers on Thursday.
Drivers can park free at meters across Boston for Valentine's Day, said Mayor Thomas Menino.
So grab a parking spot-- assuming it's not filled in with a pile of snow or already saved with an orange cone.
“Whether you’re showering yourself, a friend or a special someone with love this Valentine’s Day, we want to make it as easy as possible for residents and visitors to spend some time and money at Boston businesses and restaurants tomorrow,” said Mayor Menino in a statement. “Get out there and share the love!”
