In the Fenway, a bar reservation depends on Bruins knowledge
In the neighborhood known for baseball, bars and restaurants are gearing up for tonight's Stanley Cup final--and the crowds of Bruins fans that are expected to come out to cheer on their team.
The Lansdowne Pub--located across Lansdowne Street from Fenway Park--is offering Bruins fans a chance to score a VIP table reservation by answering trivia questions on Facebook.
The questions have gone up every two hours, starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Winners have known the answers to questions like "What was the original name of the Stanley Cup?" (Dominion Challenge Hockey Cup) and when the Bruins last won the President's Trophy (1989-1990).
Winners will score a table in the restaurant, which will show the game on eight high-definition televisions. There will also be trivia before the game, and DJ Master Millions will provide music during commercial breaks and after the game.
A reminder to those headed to the Fenway tonight: the city has announced parking restrictions from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. on several Fenway/Kenmore streets.
