Framingham Town Meeting members invited to test new electronic voting system

Framingham Town Meeting members will be able to test the town's new electronic voting system next week, according to Ed Noonan, Town Meeting moderator.

The Standing Committee on Rules will host the new electronic and display voting system demonstration on Tuesday, April 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Nevins Hall in Town Hall.

The new electronic voting system that will be implemented in the Annual Town Meeting beginning April 24.

Town Meeting Members will be given an opportunity to vote on several demonstration questions utilizing the new voting devices. Personnel from the voting system company will be present to conduct the demonstration, along with members of the Rules Committee, and will be able to answer questions.

Members of the public are also invited to attend, but only Town Meeting Members will be able to vote in the demonstration.
