Framingham State University has banned a student from the school while campus police investigate claims that the student sexually assaulted three individuals.

Framingham State University police were informed last week of three separate sexual assaults that took place in Towers Hall on separate occasions by the same student, according to police and Dan Magazu, university spokesman.

The suspect, whose name was not disclosed, has been banned from campus and taking classes while these cases are still under investigation.

"The three different individuals were acquaintances with the alleged perpetrator," Magazu said.

Magazu said the investigation is currently taking place within the university and campus police.

University police officials urge all community members to report any activity or persons that they believe is suspicious in nature to ensure the safety of the community.
