Framingham Downtown Renaissance to host Farm Pond Festival this Saturday

The Framingham Downtown Renaissance, Inc. will host a fall festival event this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine at Farm Pond on Dudley Road.

Highlights include an opening ceremony by the Massachusetts State Police, local history storytelling by Libby Franck, Capoeira with Mestre Tico Tico and Cais da Bahia USA, drumming by Marcus Santos and Grooversity, and local food.

There will also be family activities, including arts and crafts, bellydancing, Girl Scout nature games, recycling bin decorating, pumpkin painting, active games, and a treasure hunt.

Parking will be free and available on site. There is a suggested donation of $5.

The Framingham Downtown Renaissance is a local nonprofit working to facilitate the development of downtown Framingham as a vibrant commercial and residential/mixed-use activity center.
