Framingham town officials are reminding local residents that starting this month, anyone parking on the street in Framingham must switch over to the opposite side of the road.

The town’s parking system changes each year: in even-numbered years, parking is permitted on the even-number side of a street; same goes for odd-numbered years and the odd-numbered side of a street.

Since the year is now 2013, parking in town is permitted on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses.

However, town officials also note that certain roads with signage differentiating their parking rules from the town-wide blanket rule must be adhered to as stated on the sign. For more information on parking, visit the town’s parking website.
