Framingham officials to hold public hearing on open space plan

Framingham officials will hold a public meeting on Thursday to help update its open space and recreation plan, which was last done so in 2008.

The meeting will give residents an overview of the planning process and schedule, and also provide an opportunity to discuss open space and recreation issues and needs. Residents can also make recommendations for the 2013 plan.

The meeting will be hosted by a committee charged with overseeing the planning and implementation of the 2013 project. It will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7 in the Blumer Room of Framingham Town Hall, located at 150 Concord St.
