Wickford Road Bridge in Framingham to close through this fall for repairs

The Wickford Road Bridgein Framingham will be temporarily closed starting next Monday, March 18, for rehabilitation by the state transportation department.

The bridge is slated to reopen this fall.

Framingham Department of Public Works officials sent out an email blast with a detour map showing alternative routes that drivers can take.

It will cost about $7.3 million to rebuild the bridge, according to Massachusetts Department of Transportation records.
