Chocolate lovers, get ready.

Chocolate Therapy, a Framingham-based confections store located across Route 9 from Shoppers World, will hold a free "happy hour" tasting on Thursday, May 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The shop is an expansion of the owners' Dedham location, and opened in Framingham in December 2012.

The tasting will be jointly hosted by Healthy Habits Kitchen, a mail-order meal service.

Sue Schochet, owner of the service, said the event will seek to also tout the health benefits of chocolate.

During the event, attendees can sample a pairing of the store's Black Bean Chocolate Chili with "The Cure," a savory truffle featuring ingredients like cinnamon, bay leaf and cayenne pepper.

Chocolate Therapy's owner, Pam Griffin, will also host a truffle-making demonstration for those in attendance.

Chocolate Therapy is located at 60 Worcester Rd. in Framingham, behind Legal Seafood. There is no cost to attend. For more information, call 508-875-1571.
