Framingham town officials will hold a moment of silence at 2:50 p.m. today at Memorial Hall to honor victims and the families of last week's Boston Marathon bombings.

"Please join us as we stand as one with the City of Boston in a moment of silence," stated Town Manager Robert Halpin in an email. "If you are unable to join us, please feel free to observe this moment from wherever you may be."

Three people were killed and more than 170 were wounded April 15 when two bombs exploded near the finish line in Boston. One MIT campus safety officer was killed and an MBTA transit officer was wounded in a later confrontation with law enforcement.
