Framingham police are investigating a shooting Tuesday night that left a 24-year-old person injured.
A caller reported gunshots in the area of 56 Second St. at around 9 p.m., said Framingham Police Lt. Ron Brandolini. The victim, who was not identified, was shot in the thigh and transported to Tufts Medical Center. The victim was reported in good condition, Brandolini said.
This is the second time in as many months that a shooting was reported in that area. In August, police found a victim who had been shot and stabbed outside 60A Second St., who had also been the apparent victim of a home invasion, according to police.
That victim also survived.
It is unknown at this time whether the incidents are connected, said Brandolini.
Police have issued a warrant for Stefan Jones, 26, who is wanted in connection with the August incident.
