Hingham's Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday to discuss its recommendation on the name of the Dorothy Galo Elementary School, which is the topic of next month's Special Town Meeting.

Officials have said the Advisory Committee may not have time to fully discuss the school naming before the warrant goes to print and may not offer a recommendation until the night of the meeting, scheduled for Aug. 3.

The Advisory Committee, which serves as the town’s financial advisory group, will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall. The special town meeting agenda item is slated for 8 p.m.

Special Town Meeting will ask residents to name the school East Elementary School, which was the school's name before it was renovated, and calls for the costs of the Special Town Meeting to paid from the School Committee’s budget.
