Changes in local aid, FY09 to FY10

Governor Deval Patrick, by signing the $27 billion state budget on Monday, made official cuts that municipal leaders had known for months were coming. The budget for the fiscal year that started on July 1 cut noneducation local aid to all communities listed below by 29.2 percent:
