Festival of Trees in HIngham

HINGHAM MOTHERS CLUB'S FESITVAL OF TREES

The Hingham Mothers Club is inviting the public to take part in this year's Festival of Trees, Friday, Dec. 4, and Saturday, Dec 5, at the Hingham Historical Society's Old Derby Academy.

In past years, hundreds of people have visited to see decorated trees, gingerbread houses, wreaths, menorah, kinara and centerpieces. People can donate a tree or wreath to represent the a business or civic group, or create a centerpiece or menorah. Ginger Betty's also can reproduce a downtown storefront in gingerbread for the event.

Proceeds from the event support the Diane Edson Fund and the Hingham High School College Scholarship Fund.
