Hingham commemorates Veterans Day
VETERAN'S DAY CEREMONY
The Town of Hingham will honor all those who have served in the Armed Forces to defend our country.
The Veteran's Day ceremony will take place at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 11, 2009, in front of Town Hall at 210 Central Street.
Program of Events
Music by Hingham High School Band (Medley of Patriotic Songs)
Moderator Thomas L. P. O'Donnell calls the ceremony to order and announces the entrance of the Honor Guards (all rise)
Armed Forces medley performed by the Hingham High School Band
"National Anthem", sung by Kalli Jermyn (all sing)
Invocation by Rev. Mr. John McHugh
Moderator introduces the Boy and Girl Scouts to lead the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance
Moderator recognizes honored guests
Moderator introduces Rep. Garrett Bradley
Remarks by Laura Burns, Chairman of the Board of Selectmen
