Witches Julia Lotvin, Natalie Guarino, and Megan Sheeran surround Bella Komodromos, who plays Banquo, and Jake Rosenzweig, who plays Macbeth, in Hopkinton Middle School's upcoming production of 'Macbeth.'

The Hopkinton Middle School Drama Club will present William Shakespeare's tragedy "Macbeth" on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.

According to a press release, "Macbeth" tells the story of a brave Scottish general who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become King of Scotland. Encouraged by his wife, the madly ambitious Macbeth uses murder and treachery to fulfill this prophecy, but pays a steep price.

The production features a cast and crew of 115 students.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe St.

Tickets are $10 for students and seniors, and $12 for adults. Save $2 per ticket by bringing a new toy or book for the Project Just Because holiday gift program for families in need.

Tickets are available in advance at the Hopkinton Middle School main office or at the door. The donations must be made at time of purchase.
