Lexington-based champion synchronized skating team the Haydenettes will give an exhibition performance this weekend in the New England Challenge Cup in Woburn.
Forty synchronized skating teams will face off at the third annual New England Challenge Cup from 2-8pm on Saturday at the Ned O'Brien Ice Rink, 55 Locust Circle, Woburn.
Beginner teams to collegiate and master synchronized skaters from New England, New York, Philadelphia and Quebec and beyond will be competing.
The 2011 world bronze medalists and United States Figure Skating national champion Haydenettes will give an exhibition performance, as will the junior-level skaters the Lexettes.
Lexington-based Hayden Figure Skating Club is hosting the event and tickets will be available at the door for $12 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and children under 12 as well as college students with a valid identification. More information is available at http://nechallengecup.com.
