A woman was injured this afternoon when the car she was driving jumped a retaining wall at Wilson Farms on Pleasant Street in Lexington and plummeted down a 20-foot embankment.
Lexington Police Lieutenant Christopher Barry said the woman, who was the only person in the car, had to be pulled from the vehicle by firefighters since the car landed on its roof.
She was treated by paramedics at the scene and taken to the Lahey Clinic in Burlington with non-life-threatening injuries, Lt. Barry said.
A tow truck was able to right the vehicle, which appeared to have damage to its roof, front windshield, and hood, according to a picture posted on AlertNewEngland.
