Window Arts Malden exhibition open through Sept. 27

The Fourth Annual Window Arts Malden runs through Sept. 27 in downtown Malden. This year's theme, "Creativity Under Pressure," is designed to celebrate the optimism and creative energy generated by challenging economic times.

Twenty-four artists from Malden and neighboring towns will be showing their work in the windows of downtown storefronts. Pieces include drawings, paintings, sculptures, fiber art, and installations. Artists can be contacted and many works will be available for sale.

The public is invited to a reception to meet and chat with the artists on Wed. Sept. 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the mayor's office in Government Center, Malden.
