The following is a press release from Mystic Valley Regional Charter School:
The Mystic Valley Volleyball team travelled to Fellowship Christian Academy to play the game that would decide first place in their division yesterday. Locked at 3-0 in divisional play, Fellowship and Mystic Valley played a close game. Unfortunately, the Lady Eagles lost 3 games to 0.
Although the girls came out of the gate a little slow, they fought back to keep all three games close. While the team welcomed back Carolyn Bissex from injury, they also lost a number of girls to injury during the games against Fellowship. The whole team was able to fill in nicely for the injured players, with 7th grader Jessica Phinney getting a taste of her first prolonged varsity action.
The girls look to get back to their winning ways against Greater Lowell this Thursday at home.
