Malden High's Warton named EMass soccer all-star

The following was submitted by Malden High publicity director Paul Famiglietti:

Malden High School's Sam Warton has been selected for the Eastern Massachusetts All Star Soccer team.

The selection process included league coaches and the Eastern Massachusetts Regional Selection Committee. He is being recognized because of his fine performance, skill, and dedication to high school soccer in Massachusetts.

In addition to being selected as an Eastern Massachusetts All-Star, Warton has also been selected to the all-state team.

The Eastern Massachusetts All-Star games will be held on Nov. 27 at 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Quincy Memorial Stadium. The games feature North vs. South in Divisions 1, 2, and 3.
