Malden arrest log includes charges of assault on officer
Last week's arrest log includes multiple assault charges, including an alleged assault on a police officer. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Police booked Jennifer Miller, 25, of 685 Broadway, and Richard Tilton, 21, of Everett, on Monday, Dec. 14 just after 6 p.m. on charges of unarmed assault to rob and unarmed robbery. Malden police say the incident occurred on Fulton Street.
Officers nabbed Edward Demase, 27, of Lynn, last Thursday at around 11:40 a.m. on assault and trespassing charges, after a woman said that he assaulted her and then fled, according to the log.
Police arrested DeShawn Bunch-Mitchell, 20, of 667 Cross St., last Friday at 8:25 p.m. on charges of assaulting a police officer and assault and battery, after his mother asked police to remove her "disrespectful" son from the home, the log states.
Officers booked Carole Botreau, 31, of 52 Bowdoin St., last Saturday at around 5 a.m. on an assault and battery charge.
Police nabbed Hussam Edrissi, 37, of 134 Walnut St., this past Monday at 6:20 a.m. on an assault and battery charge, after a woman called 911 "very upset and crying" and hung up, according to the log.
