Mystic Valley girls' basketball honors seniors
The following is a press release from Mystic Valley Regional High School:
The Mystic Valley Girls Varsity Basketball team recently honored this years’ graduating seniors Carolyn Bissex, Gina Bernadeau, LJ Jackson and Meghan Holden. All four girls played important roles on the team throughout the year and were instrumental in turning the team into an annual participant in the MIAA tournament.
“This years’ group of seniors have been so much fun to coach. I think about mid-season they really understood what it takes to be a good team - and lead a good team - and that really showed in how we rallied to play our best basketball late in the season. Each senior brings something different to this team, and they will ALL be missed next season!” said Head coach Katelyn Leonard. Each of the seniors was given a specially made plaque by Coach Leonard as a reminder of their Mystic Valley basketball career.
