When: Saturday, April 17, 2010, 9 AM to 3 PM

Where: Northern Strand Community Trail between the Madeline English School in Everett and Medford Street in Malden .

Activities: Removal of trash, brush, and other debris from the trail and surrounding areas.

Where to Meet: Volunteers can meet at one of two locations:
Madeline English School in Everett, 105 Woodville St., or Intersection of Medford Street & Canal Street in Malden.

What to Bring: Work gloves, sturdy footwear, and clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty. We will provide tools, trash bags, water, and healthy snacks.

This cleanup is the first of a series of Volunteer Trail Days this spring and summer that will result in the construction of a stone-dust path along the Everett/Malden section of the Northern Strand Community Trail. Dates for future trail events will be announced shortly.
