Malden police arrest out-of-towners for lewd behavior, public drinking
A recent police log includes charges for open and gross lewdness and drinking in public. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Mateus Soares, 21, of 181 Kennedy Drive, was arrested on Tuesday, June 15 around 4:58 p.m. for assault and battery.
Police arrested Lisa Prosper, 40, of 708 Broadway St., Everett, on Wednesday, June 16 around 3:09 p.m. for larceny over $250 after an alleged shoplifting incident at CVS.
Officers nabbed Nicholas Moniz, 27, of 24 Noble St., on Wednesday, June 16 around 9:47 p.m. for shoplifting by concealing merchandise and assault and battery.
Bruce Mahar, 45, of 200 Eastern Ave., Lynn, was arrested on Thursday, June 17 around 2:26 a.m. for open and gross lewdness after he was allegedly spotted “touching himself” near a dumpster on Broadway Street.
Police booked George Frangos, 49, of 352 Prospect St., Cambridge, on Thursday, June 17 around 3:45 p.m. on charges of possession of a class E substance, possession of a class C substance (subsequent offense), possession of a class A substance (subsequent offense), and drinking in public.
Officers arrested Magnuson Viera, 21, of 168 Walnut St., Somerville, Joe Celicien, 18, of 17 Barstow St. and Gary Forestier, 20, of 64 Linwood St., on Friday, June 18 around 2:06 a.m. on charges of attempting to commit a crime and trespassing.
Dennis Smith, 60, of 181 Kennedy Drive, was arrested on Friday, June 18 around 6:47 p.m. for assault and battery, threatening to commit a crime, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Police arrested Viyonika Sanon, 19, of 22 Sextant Circle, Quincy, on Sunday, June 20 around 2:30 p.m. for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Roger Sheets, 28, of 286 Broadway, Everett, was arrested on Sunday, June 20 around 8:48 p.m. for assault and battery.
