Malden arrest log includes several assault charges

Last week's police log includes multiple charges for assault and battery. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Maria Perez, 43, of 48 Jennifer Ln., was arrested on Tuesday, June 29 around 3:19 p.m. for assault and battery.

Police nabbed Christopher Messenger, 24, of 58 Hubbard St., on Tuesday, June 29 around 3:50 p.m. for two counts of possession of a class B drug and possession of an illegal knife.

Officers booked Jessica Rosa, 19, of 196 Main St., on Thursday, July 1 around 10:20 a.m. on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery.

Roni Batista, 24, of 87 Main St., was arrested on Thursday, July 1 around 9:45 p.m. for assault and battery.

Police arrested Kenneth Wallace, 35, address undisclosed, on Saturday, July 3 around 3:43 a.m. for furnishing a false name/social security number to police. Michael Wallace, 33, of Boston, was arrested at the scene for two counts of receiving stolen property over $250. Damon Lowe, 40, of 540 Columbia Rd., Boston, was arrested for breaking and entering a motor vehicle and attempting to commit a crime.

Claude Bowker, 59, of 132 Boylston, was arrested on Sunday, July 4 around 9:49 a.m. for assault and battery.

Police nabbed Donald Dunton, 54, of 120 Mountain Ave., on Monday, July 5 around 7:26 p.m. for assault with a dangerous weapon.

Officers booked Cecilia Yakubu, 55, of 33 Francis St., on Monday, July 5 around 7:51 p.m. on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon.

William Brady, 54, address undisclosed, was arrested on Monday, July 5 around 11:44 p.m. for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, possession of an illegal knife, assault with a dangerous weapon and littering.
