MC names new IT director

Ray Barry 1.JPGMalden Catholic High School has named Raymond Barry as Director of Information Technology, effective immediately.  Barry reports directly to Malden Catholic Headmaster Edward C. Tyrrell and is a member of the school’s senior leadership team.

“Ray Barry exhibits the professionalism we are looking for,” said Edward C. Tyrrell, Malden Catholic Headmaster.  “He will be the face of Malden Catholic to the technology community.  Ray understands current trends in technology and has a willingness to work closely with teachers, administrators and students.  He will be a real asset to our leadership team.”

Barry will manage all aspects of information technology for Malden Catholic, developing and implementing a school technology plan, training and supporting faculty and staff, integrating technology into all areas of the school curricula, and teaching and supporting students.

He previously served as an IT Cost Containment/Management Consultant for Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in Cambridge, MA.  Prior to his role at MSH, he worked in various positions for more than a decade at GEI Consultants in Woburn, MA, a $70 million civil engineering consulting firm.  His experience at GEI culminated in his appointment as Director of Information Technology.  Barry holds an M.S. and a B.S. from Northeastern University.
