Malden police are searching for a man who they believe robbed a laudromat at 484 Ferry St. Tuesday, police said.

According to police, the man walked into the laundromat and asked for change for a $5 bill.

When the clerk opened the drawer, the suspect reached over and grabbed cash from the register, said Police Captain Thomas Swanson in an e-mail.

The man fled on foot on Ferry Street toward the Everett city line.

If anyone recognizes the man in the surveillance images, contact Malden police detectives at 781-397-7181.
