The following was submitted by the Elizabeth Warren for US Senate Committee:

Consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren earned strong support at the Democratic caucus in Malden Saturday, demonstrating the growing grass-roots energy and momentum behind Warren’s fight to level the playing field for middle-class families and stand up to Wall Street and the big banks.

“The enthusiasm and support of the Democrats attending today’s caucus in Malden is exciting," said Warren. "Massachusetts working families are fed up with Washington where Wall Street and the big banks get all the breaks. People here know that has to change. That’s why I'm in this race, to help middle class families get ahead.”

Massachusetts Democrats will be conducting caucus meetings this month to elect delegates to the state convention in June. Warren's team has organized an army of Caucus Coordinators to manage outreach at hundreds of caucuses in every corner of Massachusetts. She will be visiting caucus meetings throughout the Commonwealth during the next few weeks.

Malden's eight wards will send 35 delegates to the Mass. Democratic Convention June 2 at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. 24 alternates also were elected.
