Public input sought for renovations to Malden's Miller Park
Bright ideas are needed to renovate Miller Park, a blighted spot at the corner of Harvard and Sammett streets.
Next Sunday, residents are invited to attend A Community Art Workshop, to be led by Abigail Klima, an architect working on the park renovation. People will be asked to suggest and share ideas for a new vision for the park, a barren space surrounded by a chain link fence.
The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Salemwood School on Salem Street. The Malden Redevelopment Authority received a $44,650 grant from the TKF Foundation, a private nonprofit that funds projects to create green space in urban areas.
