Flag Day celebration coming to Malden June 14

Flag Day celebrations are returning to Malden June 14, when Ward 1 City Councilor Peg Crowe and School Committee member Jen Cabral will acknowledge the adoption of the stars and stripes as our nation's banner.

The 5:30 p.m. ceremony will be held at Bell Rock Memorial Park on Main Street, and will feature a brief speaking program and performances by the Malden High School band and choral arts society.
